KIRBY EYE PANELS, BIRDS and FISHES, MARVEL CAVE POSTCARDS, all in the first Mindwrecker blog

.............MARVEL and FAIRY CAVE in MISSOURI.
This card set is nice in that they feature many nice views of the surrounding countryside and cabins before going down into the less-easy-to-reproduce caverns, which are the selling point in the souvenir card set. And of course there's Uncle Ike. Below is the tastefully designed and printed envelope-back of the set, and above is the front cover graphic, natch. This is the complete set of images. Enjoy.

BIRDS AND FISHES

undated 19th-Century children's book

.....Note the poignant last line of the WHALE chapter:

.....and thus the book "Birds And Fishes" ends with Frogs, Toads, and Lizards (!)...oh well, the bat is a mammal, as well as the whale, so this children's book is all screwed up.............

KIRBY__EYES

..............I began putting aside piles of Jack Kirby's "eye closeup" panels a long time ago, I found one of these with a date in 1990, and I think that's far enough back. This is by NO means ALL of them--hoo hah! The very idea! There are many inkers represented and publishers and books. Can you find the panel from the one and only issue of Dingbats Of Danger Street ?...And so on.
They can also be enjoyed just as a story by itself, and I tried to include a lot of panels with dialogue actually BY Jack. This project was a video first, and now it's been re-molded as a purely graphic thingy, and I hope you enjoy it!
